Commissioned to design a recording studio for a client who wished to use the barn conversion as both a recording studio and guest house for friends. The barn was already undergoing renovations when commissioned so we had to act fast to provide additional specifications and detail for the soundproofing of the new roof and window and door designs. The client also wanted to balance acoustic treatment with asphetics so that when it was used as a guest house, the guested didn't feel like they were sleeping in a recording studio.
